People, definitely people. Everything they say and everything they do. From the HR angle, my true passion lies within how to make employees more engaged and more motivated. The truth is so simple yet so difficult to achieve – it is the core things like trust, accountability, and empowerment. When you have that, your business will definitely drive to success. Happy employees equal effective work hours equal more revenue.
How to make HR world a better place?
Start investing in it. Start seeing people behind the success, policies, and regulations. HR is so much more than just personnel administration. It is a truly powerful tool in the hands of a CEO to develop its business to a next level. Step one? Ask help from HR consultants to map the current situation in your business. What was the career path that led you to HR Gourmet?
Out of being a waitress, instructor, TV host, police investigator, school psychologist, seeing things from different angles being a manager, team lead, top specialist and whoever else, came my interest towards human relations in businesses. My observations and hypothesis lead me into the HR field and after many years of experimenting, I’m finally ready to share my ideas and help managers, HR experts, and top leadership to achieve their dreams, goals, and visions.
What is your mission at HR Gourmet?
To help managers, HR experts and top leadership with real-life HR experience and support with psychological altitude from my Master studies.
One real advice you would give to a manager/ a junior HR specialist right now?
Never start from the ice peak unless you want quick wins that won’t last. Good people management and HR takes time and it is most critical to get the basics right. What good is in giving a salary raise if employee hates the tasks that he’s doing, huh?
When you were younger, what did you want to be when you grew up?
Well, I’ve really dreamt of becoming an actress conquering the whole world. Actress part, I’ve left behind, the other, not really.
Do you have any hidden talents?
Sure I do! I’m all about talents but the one I’m really passionate about is listening. Truly.
What’s one thing that you’ve always wanted to try?
Surviving on the deserted island.
What are you most passionate about?
My husband, I absolutely adore him. My 2 kids, brilliant geniuses! My cat Nisu, don't you just love her:
If you could do another job for one day, what would it be?
Carpenter. Feeling alive, contact with hands and wood. The cycle of creation.

How do you spend your time outside of HR Gourmet?
Other than working as HR Manager in Rakuten Fits Me, I’m a friend, mother, child, sister, husband, gardener, swimmer, housewife, traveller, dreamer, a cook and god knows how many other interesting things! People are a true mystery, right?
